About the Job

The Minimalist is hiring a Jr. Content Writer.

Work Profile

• Content Development: Craft clear and concise microcopy for user interfaces, including buttons, menus, error messages, and onboarding instructions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and user-centred design solutions.
• User Research: Participate in user research to understand the target audience’s needs, preferences, and pain points, ensuring the content aligns with user expectations.
• Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and maintenance of content guidelines, style guides, and tone of voice to ensure consistency across all platforms and products.
• Testing and Iteration: Engage in usability testing and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of the content, making necessary adjustments based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all written content is accessible and inclusive, adhering to relevant accessibility standards and best practices.

Eligibility

• Writing Proficiency: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity and brevity.
• UX Design Understanding: Solid understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to integrate content seamlessly into the design process.
• Research Skills: Ability to conduct and analyse user research to inform content decisions.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all content.
• Technical Familiarity: Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, and an understanding of basic HTML/CSS can be advantageous.
