About the Job

The Indian Express is hiring Content Writers – Marketing.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a content writer, journalist, or marketing copywriter
• Exceptional writing, interviewing, and editing skills
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Profile

• Write and edit high-quality, plagiarism-free content for pan-India clients
• Develop engaging advertorials and feature stories for newspapers and branded platforms
• Create original promotional content for advertisements and marketing campaigns
• Attend and cover client events when required, developing them into editorial stories
• Edit and refine client-provided content to enhance tone, clarity, and impact
• Ensure alignment with brand voice, editorial standards, and campaign objectives
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in advertorials, feature writing, or editorial content for print or digital platforms
• Knowledge of branding, advertising tone, and promotional writing styles
