About the Job
NIC Shillong is hiring a Content Writer/Creator/Document Writer.
Eligibility
- A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (optional but preferred).
- Strong understanding of grammar, spelling, and style.
- Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., finance, healthcare, tech, etc.) for creating specialised content.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and error-free content.
- Strong research skills to ensure content accuracy and credibility.
- Ability to adapt to various writing styles, including formal, casual, persuasive, and technical.
- Creativity and ability to generate fresh and engaging ideas.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Knowledge of SEO to improve content visibility.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (optional but useful).
Work Profile
The Content Writer/Creator/Document Writer will be responsible for documenting process flows, creating manuals, compiling project histories, and handling other related documentation tasks. The role requires creating clear and comprehensive content that accurately represents the processes and projects undertaken by NIC.
