About the Job

Newgen KnowledgeWorks is hiring a Content Writer – Content Updates (Remote).

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications.
• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, editing, or fact-checking.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent command of grammar and editorial style.
• Familiarity with CMS/DB content environments and the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition).
• Knowledge of MLA 9th edition for bibliographic references.
• Prior experience in Wikipedia-style or encyclopaedic content editing is an added advantage.

Work Profile

• Research, verify, and update content with accurate and current information.
• Maintain consistency and formatting as per the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition).
• Manage bibliographic references following MLA 9th edition guidelines.
• Identify outdated content, fix broken links, and correct factual errors.
• Collaborate with editors, track updates, and ensure timely and quality delivery.
