About the Job

Milaap is hiring a Social Media Intern.

Eligibility

• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills are mandatory.
• 1-2 years of experience managing social media accounts (internships or freelance experience are acceptable).
• Proficiency in social media platforms and knowledge of tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Passion for purpose-driven work and empathy for fundraisers and donors.
• Based in Mumbai, preferably in central Mumbai.

Work Profile

• Assist in weekly content planning, organising a social media calendar, and scheduling posts across platforms.
• Write, edit, and publish engaging social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create short-form video scripts and compelling copy for social media.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions, building relationships with followers.
• Track the performance of posts and campaigns using analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Meta Ads Manager).
• Stay updated on social media trends and suggest new ideas to improve content performance.
• Work closely with communications and PR teams for consistent messaging and assist with influencer outreach.
